What door-to-door really means
A loaded car hauler can be up to about 75 to 80 feet long. Where streets, overhead branches, weight limits, parking rules or community regulations make that impossible, the driver will arrange to meet you at a nearby safe and legal location — commonly a large retail lot, a wide commercial street or a spot just outside a community entrance.
This is standard, legal practice across the industry, not a reduction in service. In most suburban areas the truck genuinely does come to the door; in dense cities and restrictive communities, a short drive to meet the driver is the norm.
Where a meeting point is usually needed
Urban neighborhoods with narrow streets and permit parking, apartment and condo buildings with garage-only access, private roads with posted weight limits, and gated communities that prohibit commercial vehicles.

How to make door-to-door work smoothly
Tell us your property type when you book, add the carrier to your guard-gate visitor list, and share any parking or truck restrictions. The driver calls ahead before both pickup and delivery so the location can be confirmed in advance rather than negotiated on arrival.
